Songs of Hope for a Noisy Planet

Indie music promoter Noisy Planet will be releasing a series of compilation albums to benefit relief efforts for recent disasters in Japan, Haiti, and New Zealand. Recording artists are asked to submit original "songs of hope" before April 30, 2011.
 
April 4, 2011 - PRLog -- Indie music promoter Noisy Planet has announced that it will be releasing a series of compilation albums to benefit relief efforts in Japan, Haiti, and New Zealand. The albums will be titled, "Songs of Hope for a Noisy Planet," and will be promoted worldwide.

Artists and bands are asked to submit one original song of hope in any genre and in any language no later than April 30, 2011, for consideration. Song submission is free, and selected songs will be featured on one of the albums. Proceeds will be donated directly to relief organizations.

Noisy Planet founder and president Kevin Petersen, stated, "We've obviously seen some natural disasters recently that will impact several generations. Music is our way of pulling people together to help those affected in these areas."

The first release is scheduled for May 2011, and Petersen commented that "we will continue promoting benefits albums as long as there are needs in the world."
