Unique Customizable Activity-Based Weather Alerts

Malibu, CA — April 01, 2011 — JoeWeather.com announced their Special Olympics support program for the month of April.
For the entire month, JoeWeather.com will donate 25 cents for every free registration and 10% of all paid subscriptions at JoeWeather.com to Special Olympics.
JoeWeather.com proactively alerts the user to “Your Weather, Your Way” based upon temperature, wind, and other factors chosen by the user.  
Using a proprietary Custom Forecasting Algorithm, JoeWeather.com sends email and/or text alerts to notify users when conditions are forecast that meet the user’s personal criteria.  An “Activity Profile” is created for each location and set of conditions to be alerted on.  Multiple profiles may be created for any location(s) and/or activity, whether in the middle of a city, or some remote location.
Many Different Uses
The proactive customized weather forecasting ability allows those who enjoy any outdoor activity to plan activities to coincide with the type of weather preferred for that particular activity.  JoeWeather.com will let users know which location(s) will have the ideal weather on a particular day.  
Corporate accounts can make use of the customized forecasting as well.  Alerts for high winds, rain, snow, etc. may be necessary for planning work activities or maintaining worker safety.
