Membership in Top Agent Network allows top-ranked real estate agents in Santa Clara County to share exclusive, non-MLS real estate information via the network’s sophisticated online communications platform. TAN’s continually circulating information about private listings, motivated buyers and local resources gives member agents and their clients an unprecedented competitive advantage in their local markets. “Sharing non-MLS real estate information with one another is something that top agents have been doing forever,” says Top Agent Network Founder and CEO David Faudman. “Unfortunately, this sharing was very haphazard and inefficient. That’s why I created Top Agent Network. As soon as agents become members, they start making connections that lead to home sales and to happier clients.” Private sales account for 10-15% of all real estate transactions in each local market. Furthermore, the top 10% of agents typically account for 70-75% of the total real estate transactions and service provider referrals locally (source: MLS data). The San Jose Chapter will contain agents representing listings only in San Jose. These geographic designations mimic local real estate market dynamics and keep TAN relevant to local, residential real estate. The network’s cross-market access feature accommodates for the inevitable overlap among chapters. Membership in Top Agent Network is restricted to the top 10% of agents in each local market based on past two-year MLS sales. Members are promoted publicly via TAN-sponsored marketing designed to drive homebuyers and sellers to TAN member agents. The Santa Clara County chapter introductions come on the heels of TAN’s highly successful launches in Marin, San Francisco, San Mateo, Sonoma-Napa, Monterey, Santa Barbara and, most recently, Montgomery and Howard counties in the Metro DC area. TAN also has a chapter in Washington, DC itself, and plans to expand further in 2011 into the Tri-State area (New York) and other locations nationally.
