Bikers! Bike tour in North Jersey. Ride on may 7th 2011.

PRLog (Press Release) - Mar. 31, 2011 - Bikers!  Ride the Brake the Hunger Cycle Tour, the largest charity bike ride in Northern NJ, on Saturday, May 7th, in Kinnelon, NJ.  This is not a race, but a ride through scenic Morris County, with its rolling hills, lakes and streams.  Five routes for every skill level, from young to old, from a 4-mile ride to a challenging 62-mile route.  All rides begin and end at host church, St. David’s, in Kinnelon.  A backyard BBQ with great food, live music and family entertainment rounds out the event.

The Brake the Hunger Cycle Tour is in its fourth year of raising funds to feed the hungry.   All profits from the event are donated to local and international organizations that aim to alleviate the issues of poverty and hunger.  Fifty percent will be donated to the New Jersey Community Food Bank; the remaining fifty percent will be donated to global projects building clean, safe, potable water sources.  Locally, 20% of families are seeking food assistance in New Jersey, a harsh fact exacerbated the recession.  How can you help?  Enjoy the ride while helping the hungry.   Go to http://www.hungercycletour.com/cycle/register.asp for more information and to register on-line.
