New Academic Article on Human Resources Organization Design

March 30, 2011 - PRLog -- Phoenix, AZ. ON THE MARK (OTM), a leading international business transformation consultancy with offices in Phoenix and London, announced the publication of its practitioner article in WorldatWork Journal, a peer-reviewed membership publication with more than 30,000 subscribers in 100 countries.  “A Critical Review of The Three-Box Model for HR Organization Design” was initially accepted for publication in December 2010 and was distributed electronically to WorldatWork’s global members in March 2011. The in-print version will be made available in a calendar year Q1/Q2 combined binding.

“For the past 10 years, we’ve found ourselves solving the problems, gaps and issues stemming from HR organizations that have implemented what’s commonly referred to as a ‘three box’ model for human resources design. While some of the challenges in the model and its implementation have been discussed in other venues and from other angles, our article looks at the problem through a disciplined organization design lens, identifying the underlying gaps and issues within the model and discussing practical ways to make the model work,” said Mark LaScola, Managing Principal for ON THE MARK. We are now building upon this article to include webcasts, presentations and follow-up articles to complement our already existing and in-demand hands-on, skill-building organization design workshops.
