UK Energy Saving Provides Information on Energy Suppliers’ Green Tariffs

PRLog (Press Release) - Mar. 30, 2011 - To complement their energy switch marketplace, consumer website www.uk-energy-saving.com have added an energy supplier section to their site.  The pages within the section offer background information on the suppliers as well as details of their fuel mix and any green tariffs they offer.

“This is hopefully another way to help inform our visitors in making green choices,” explains Hayley Jones, Web Marketing Director at UK Energy Saving.  “The main thirteen UK energy suppliers each have a page dedicated to them which include some basic company information followed by a breakdown of their fuel mix i.e. what percentages of their electricity come from which sources such as coal, nuclear power or renewables.  In addition we detail any green tariffs they have on offer.”

“With so many suppliers and tariffs available the energy marketplace can be a minefield for consumers, but we hope that this information will help to better inform our visitors if they are thinking of switching supplier.”
