Kick-A-Thon for 2011 Japan Earthquake/Tsunami Aid and Support - Saturday April 16, 2011 /9am-5pm

March 30, 2011 - PRLog -- Camp Carter International Karate Association (CCIKA) will host a Kick-A-Thon to assist in support for the 2011 Japan Earthquake/Tsunami communities and schools in areas directly affected.

CCIKA is a Shotokan Karate program located at Camp Carter International Family Fitness 14910 Camden Avenue, San Jose, California 95124.  We also teach other martial arts styles including TaeKwonDo

Our style of karate is from Japan and our school, club, organization, etc., had plans to visit Japan in 2012.  All of our students were excited and started several fundraisers to support the costs.  When the earthquake and tsunami hit, everyone decided it would be best if we postpone the 2012 trip and gave all fundraising support to the communities and schools in need.  We will give 100% of the monies raised to this event directly to affected areas.

We will host a Kick-A-Thon at our Dojo on Saturday April 16, 2011 starting at 9am till 5pm.  Every one is encouraged to come out to support by making a direct donation, or by sponsoring how many times you or someone else can kick a kicking pad/bag in two minutes (100 kicks x 10 cents = $10).  This event will continue throughout the day, so come in when you can.  You do not need to stay all day - show up, give your support for a while and then continue on with your plans for the day.  We will have food, games and prizes.  Bring the whole family.

We are inviting all Local, National and International Celebrities to join us in this event by sending us a letter, email or message to show support in this International disaster to aid and support the affected 2011 Japan Earthquake/Tsunami Communities and Schools.
