The website has been created by Haymarket, owners of C&IT and Event magazines. Combining their knowledge with many hours of research they decided to launch an online resource giving event organisers this vital tool to assist in their venue-selection process: venue hire virtual tours.
The website is intentionally text-free and to-the-point to differentiate it from more cluttered competitors and enables visitors to easily search venues by key criteria such as cost, location, event type and style.
The team has gathered over 37 venues that now have a complete profile including the video tour highlighting the key features that the venue offers. Many more are in the pipeline from Alton Towers through to Fairmont Shanghai so keep an eye open!
The website also allows any user to skip to particular rooms within the venue and also leave a comment or contact the venue directly.
