About the Author: A.C. August is a dog groomer in Prescott, Arizona, who wrote this book following a serious car accident. “I could have had my own highway cross. Car accidents have always been my biggest fear of death. This book confronts that fear.” She has “an inner desire to make something good out of something bad,” and would like to see a highway cross registry to memorialize those who have lost their lives.
