New Store Selling Scandinavian Home Decor Opens in Canada and US

The company is an internet based store that imports quality home furnishings and accessories from Sweden to Canada and the United States.Truly Swedish Design (TM) focuses solely on products designed, and also often manufactured, in Sweden.  Most of the products to be offered have previously not been available to the North American consumer.

Owner Annika Ek, a Swedish native who has lived in Canada for 17 years, is bringing the Swedish home furnishings she loves to North America. Ek says she was tired of not being able to get the stylish quality products she wanted to decorate her own home in an easy way. The company is also responding to a cocooning trend and increasing interest in interior design, including the clean lines of Scandinavian home decor.

Truly Swedish Design (TM) is based in Ottawa, Canada, and is registered to do business out of New York State. Ek has set up her business so her customers in North America don’t have to worry about duties and brokerage fees, they only pay what they see and can shop with ease for Scandinavian home decor.
