March 29, 2011 - PRLog -- With just one month to go to the Royal Wedding, people across the country are starting to plan out their celebrations for the big day. AMA Events have put together tips to help wannabe party planners to celebrate in style.

1. Keep it Simple

Many event planners get themselves tied up in knots trying to organise a world-class event. For the Royal Wedding, everything from the activities to decorations is covered by the theme of the day.

Either choose a patriotic British-theme, a traditional English country tea party or a princess party for the young (and young at heart).

2. Get the Right Equipment

A key decision will be whether to watch the celebrations on TV or simply party and have fun. If choosing the former, be sure to sort out how guests can watch the TV, don't force 50 people to huddle around a small screen.

3. Delegate Responsibility

A secret that every good event planner knows is that delegation is everything.

No one person can take responsibility for everything, so play to your guests' strengths. If one has a talent for baking, they should bring the cake, if another has a flair for decorations, they should bring the bunting.

Split tasks and praise everyone for their involvement to see great results without devoting every minute to party planning.

But, says AMA, the most important thing to remember is to relax and have fun. Whether it's at a neighbourhood street party or a smaller affair, 29 April should be a celebration to remember.
