Until the introduction of Part Exchange Runabout, Henson Motor Group had sold cars with a minimum value of £3,000. The scheme was introduced in response to customer feedback which indicated that many people were looking for a cheap, reliable car to get them to and from work, but also wanted the backing of a car dealership which meant the cars were in top mechanical condition.
