Croatian born, Mirela Lazaric came to London in 1994 with just a suitcase and a dream at the tender age of just 18. Since then life has been one hell of a roller coaster ride which only served to push Mirela's imagination into overdrive. Mirela draws her inspiration from her love of fashion, comics, manga, sci-fi, fetish and horror. These influences have combined to create original, stylish, sexy and often provocative art.
Her partner in crime is DJ & music producer Kandyman. His imagery reflects his musical tastes combining modern dark electronica with retro hip-hop influences. His mastery of sound manipulation software techniques have given him the skills to create artwork in a similar way resulting in fresh, detailed, slick and very cool art.
CodeX also license work from other artists which they feel add value to the collection as a whole.
