JITOA Celebrates Earth Hour at the Citadel Amman

March 29, 2011 - PRLog -- JITOA joined the Citadel Amman in celebration of Jordan Earth Hour as part of  Don't mess with Nature لا تعبث بالطبيعة Initiative “Turn off the lights campaign” حملة طفي الضو  supported by the Ministry of Tourism and Antiquities – Department of Antiquities with public and private sector participation from the Jordan Travel & Tourism, and Hospitality sector.

The site was candle lit for one hour being one of the remarkable archeological iconic sites in Jordan and the city of Amman; to demonstrate the importance of conserving nature and archeology.

JITOA as the official contact party in Jordan will upload all participants activities online on the official EarthHour.org – Media Center to mark Jordan on the map.
