RecruitMilitary to Present Civilian Jobs/Opportunities Expo for Veterans in Baltimore on April 28

RecruitMilitary, a military-to-civilian recruiting firm, will present a civilian employment, business-ownership, and education Opportunity Expo for job seekers who have military backgrounds at M&T Bank Stadium in Baltimore on Thursday, April 28.
 
March 28, 2011 - PRLog -- Cincinnati, OH -- RecruitMilitary, a military-to-civilian recruiting firm, will present a free civilian employment, business-ownership, and education Opportunity Expo for job seekers who have military backgrounds at M&T Bank Stadium, home of the Baltimore Ravens, on Thursday, April 28. RecruitMilitary is inviting veterans who already have civilian work experience, men and women who are transitioning from active duty to civilian life, members of the National Guard and reserves, military spouses, and other military family members. The event will begin at 11:00 a.m. and end at 3:00 p.m.

The company expects more than 30 employers, franchisors, and educational institutions to reserve exhibitor booths at the Expo. Already signed up are Argosy University, AutoNation, Baltimore Gas & Electric Company, the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA), Canam Steel Corporation, Chancellor University, Chesterfield County Police Department, DeVry University, Eaton Corporation, Finch Services Inc., Goodman Manufacturing Company LP, Grand Canyon University, International Yacht Restoration School, Limestone College, Maryland Department of Public Safety and Correctional Services, the National Veterans Employment Program (NVEP) of the United States Department of Veterans Affairs, New York Life, Online Trading Academy, Pepco Holdings Inc., Sinai Hospital of Baltimore, Stinger Ghaffarian Technologies Inc., The Art Institutes, The Home Depot, Thompson Creek Window Company, and Verizon Wireless.

RecruitMilitary (www.recruitmilitary.com) will produce the Expo in cooperation with The American Legion (http://www.legion.org), an association of veterans who served during times of war. The Legion has 2.4 million members in nearly 14,000 posts throughout the world. Congress chartered the association in 1919.

RecruitMilitary has scheduled 43 additional Expos for 2011. Those events will take place in Atlanta, Baltimore (on September 1), Birmingham, Boston, Charlotte, Chicago, Cincinnati, Colorado Springs, Columbus, Dallas, Denver, Houston, Jacksonville, Kansas City, Las Vegas, Los Angeles, Miami, Minneapolis, Nashville, New York, Norfolk, Philadelphia, Phoenix, Pittsburgh, Richmond, St. Louis, San Diego, San Jose, Tacoma, Tampa, and Washington.
