“Different Faces, Different Places” Exhibit – Dana Powell, Mary Howard & Sody Clements

March 28, 2011 - PRLog -- Opening & exhibit by Oklahoma artist Dana Powell and her guest artists, Mary Howard and Sody Clements, in the Historic Paseo Arts District. “Different Faces, Different Places” is an exhibit of paintings and mixed media boxes that is inspired by different faces, places and objects. Opening reception is Friday, April 1st from 6:00pm-10:00pm. Show runs thru April 30th.

IYE artist Dana Powell uses bright, vibrant color to express her thoughts and feelings, creating whimsical paintings of special places, faces and pets.  Mary Howard focuses on women's portraits, creating works of art that emphasize unique and thoughtful personalities.  Sody Clements takes useful practical everyday objects - boxes - and transforms them into functional pieces of art. All three women bring a unique talent and perspective to this distinctive exhibit.

In Your Eye Studio and Gallery is located in the center of the historic Paseo Arts District near NW 30th and Walker Avenue in Oklahoma City. The gallery is owned by a consortium of 10 Oklahoma artists featured during monthly Paseo Art Walks.
