Sabir Sisters Fiddle for a Cause

Toe stomping never felt so good! The Sabir Sisters, renowned Canadian Celtic Fiddlers, are fiddling for a cause in this year’s Spring Benefit Concert for Communitas, 7 pm on Thursday, May 5th at Emmanuel Mennonite Church in Abbotsford.  

Known for their fast flying fiddling and can’t-stay-still fun, the Sabir Sisters have energized audiences for over a decade. Celebrating the Canadian Celtic traditions across North America and passing them along in their music and dance schools, the Sabir Sisters have established themselves as a uniquely Canadian legacy.

Communitas is very excited to have the Sabir Sisters showcased at this year’s Spring Benefit Concert. This evening's fund raising focus is the Family Support Network (FSN), a network for families that have a child or sibling with a disability. This network provides workshops and events, like the annual FSN Retreat, which allow these families to find support and rejuvenate in a safe environment, and build great lasting friendships.
