Find out what freelancers' other clients think, says report

Learning what a freelancer's other clients think is a great way to dteremine whether you're likely to have a good working relationship.

March 28, 2011 - PRLog -- Plainfield, Indiana - Before choosing a creative service provider to work with your business, be sure to talk with some of their other clients, recommends veteran copywriter and marketing consultant Scott Flood of Scott Flood Writing in a recently released report.

"Many people wonder whether they'’ll be happy with the work, but it's more important to determine if you'll be happy with the working relationship," Flood explains in "The Smarter Strategy for Selecting Suppliers."

"Effective work begins with a good relationship," he adds. "One way to determine whether that's likely to see what kind of relationship the supplier has with others."

In the report, which is currently available for a no-cost download at http://sfwriting.com/freeguide, Flood cites warning signs. "If the supplier is unwilling to provide references, or if those references aren't eager to talk with you, there may be problems you'll want to avoid."

"The Smarter Strategy for Selecting Suppliers" can be downloaded at http://sfwriting.com/freeguide. Scott Flood Writing (www.sfwriting.com) provides effective print and online copy to companies and other organizations.
