Kurt Rayburg of Rosenfeld Einstein Named Outstanding Safety Professional

March 28, 2011 - PRLog -- GREENVILLE, SC – Noted safety consultant Kurt Rayburg of Rosenfeld Einstein, a full-service insurance agent/brokerage and consulting firm based in Greenville and serving clients across the Carolinas, has been named Safety Professional of the Year by members of the Piedmont Chapter of the American Society of Safety Engineers.

The award recognizes leaders in the safety and health profession who have demonstrated outstanding accomplishments in their professional careers, and who have made significant contributions to advance the safety profession.  The award was presented to Mr. Rayburg at the chapter’s recent annual meeting.

A Certified Safety Professional (CSP) and Certified Professional Environmental Auditor (CPEA) with over 25 years of professional experience, Mr. Rayburg helps companies maintain OSHA standards and create safer work environments.  As Rosenfeld Einstein’s Workplace Safety Director, he is a sought-after trainer and presenter, and is published on a variety of safety-related topics.

Mr. Rayburg also serves as president of the Piedmont chapter of the American Society of Safety Engineers, and has assisted numerous safety professionals and students in achieving excellence and accreditation in their safety responsibilities.  His specialty areas include ergonomic intervention, safety culture development and enhancement, safety accountability systems, and arc flash hazard control techniques.  He is also an authorized OSHA outreach trainer for both construction and industrial operations.  

He holds a B.S. in Safety Management from Indiana University of Pennsylvania, and is an active member of the Greater Greenville Chamber of Commerce.
