PRLog - March 28, 2011 - Goleta, CA – The Towbes Group has executed a lease with Yardi Systems for the remaining vacant 7,000 square feet at the Fairview Business Center in Goleta, CA, bringing total occupancy of the 73,000 square foot Class A office building to 100 percent, announced Vice President, Commercial Properties Traci Taitt.

The Towbes Group, a fully integrated real estate investment, development and property management company, completed construction on Fairview Business Center in December 2008, the first commercial building to be constructed in Goleta in the past nine years. The building is located at 420 S. Fairview Avenue in Goleta’s redevelopment district. Tenants include Tecolote Research, Yardi, Autoliv, and Snyder Law.
“It’s always a challenge, especially in these economic conditions, but to be fully leased within two years is a huge accomplishment,”
The Fairview Business Center also is the only commercial office building in Goleta with a ground floor deli.
“Most commercial office buildings in Goleta are comprised of traditional footprint commercial buildings, so bringing in a food service is quite a milestone,” adds Taitt.
Towbes modified the building and added a trellis and outdoor patio as an amenity for tenants and customers and to create a greater street level identity for the locally owned and operated restaurant, Three Pickles.
The Fair view Business Center received the 2009 Goleta Valley Beautiful Award of excellence for design and landscaping.
