The luxury isn't confined just to the kitchen. There are luxurious touches spread throughout all areas including the cockpit, the living area, bathroom and bedroom. The 43DFT floor plan includes a bath-and-a-half layout which complements the master bedroom superbly. It comprises a one-piece round shower as well as a vanity in addition to having a full rear-wall wardrobe and lots of extra storage. The 43PKQ floor plan also includes a full rear-wall wardrobe, but it is located in the master bedroom area rather than in the bath area.
Both floor plans include a queen size bed with premier select comfort air mattress as standard. The more luxurious upgrade option is the king bed as it also comes with a remote for the comfort air mattress. Both layouts also include a designer plush carpet as standard while offering the upgrade option of having a ceramic tile floor. A DVD option also exists for the bedroom while both layouts include a 26 inch LCD TV as standard.
Other entertainment facilities available include the standard 40 inch flatscreen LCD TV installed in the living area as well as a home theatre system. An optional upgrade is to go for the Blu-Ray DVD player in the living room, but may not be required if taking out the optional DVD player in the bedroom. The 43DFT layout also provides an optional upgrade to an exterior entertainment center with a 40 inch LCD TV and DVD player in the storage bay ceiling.
Taking everything into account, the Holiday Rambler Scepter offers a lot of luxury at a competitive price. It handles very well on the Roadmaster RR10 S-Series chassis and the pilot can make use of the 3-camera color rear vision system to ensure easy parking. Even without selecting any of the optional upgrades, the standard features included provide a great deal of luxury and style. Plenty of Class-A motor homes fail to live up to the hype built up around them, but not this one.
