Sponsored by Wishes4Life, the contest has attracted worldwide entries. Runner-ups were Phillip Jones and Maya Ram, Atlanta, GA. Finalists were Kiyaga Raymond, Southhampton, UK; James Armenta, El Cajon, CA; Kevin Tanner, Newhall, CA; and Morrissa Schwartz of Colonia, NJ.
“While we loved all the videos, there can only be one grand prize winner. Thanks to all the participants for expressing and sharing their wishes on our first One Day To Live Project. We look forward to even a greater number of inspiring wishes in the new contest over the next 22 days,” said Wishes4Life spokesperson Doug Fleischli.
The contestants expressed and shared deep, emotionally-
charged stories of seeking to be loved, wanted and understood, desiring social changes, finding answers to life’s hardest questions, envisioning a cure for cancer and wishing for a prosthetic leg for a father so he can once again play with his son.
