Bay View Players Achieve Success at RI Drama Fest

March 25, 2011 - PRLog -- St. Mary Academy-Bay View presented their Drama Fest piece, “Talking with . . .” by Jane Martin. Written in 1983 the play is a series of monologues delivered by 11 different women.  The Bay View Players, one of 7 ensemble casts who performed at the RI State Drama Fest received the Alternate Award. The competition was held at Mt. Hope High School in Bristol, RI on March 19, 2011.

Bay View Senior, Sarah Anderson of East Greenwich and Sophomore Maggie Dunleavy of Cranston each earned All-State acting awards. All-State Actors are chosen for theatrical excellence in their presentation.  This year the Stanley Anderson Award for Technical Theatre Excellence was presented to Bay View Senior, Morgan Lake of Bristol.
