Mapped Travel changes internet addresses

March 25, 2011 - PRLog -- As part of a major reorganisation of the Mapped Travel site, the web-site's team has today announced that all users who have bookmarked cities or sights directly should update them before they cease to work.

The homepage has been renamed to World, but it can still be found at  http://www.mappedtravel.com as before. The Forum can also still be found at http://www.mappedtravel.com/travel/ .

More important changes have happened with the city view pages. These change to the new format of: main URL/world region name/continent name/country name/city name-travel-guide/ or simply for Chisinau: http://www.mappedtravel.com/europe/moldova/chisinau-travel-guide/ .

Fortunately, all this is a technicality most people don't have to worry about as they will automatically be redirected from the old URLs (ending in PHP) to the new ones. The only thing needed to be done is  an update of the bookmark once a user has automatically been moved on to the new page address (This can simply be done by using any browser's functionality.)

The Mapped Travel team apologise for any inconvenience caused and promise that there are more positive news coming due to this reorganisation.
