Ex'pression College for Digital Arts Expands Ex'pression Pro Series

March 24, 2011 - PRLog -- (EMEYRVILLE, CA – March 24, 2011) – Ex’pression College for Digital Arts, one of the premier schools of its kind in the United States, is pleased to announce the expansion of its professional certification program, Ex’pression Pro. Since its launch in 2010 with six different software workshops, Ex’pression Pro now offers weekend courses and certification in over 20 digital software applications and production techniques.

Ex’pression Pro provides professional certification and training to working professionals and artists at Ex’pression College, a digital media production facility.  The individual courses are typically two to three days in length, with all courses leading to professional certification opportunities.  Ex’pression Pro classes focus on hands-on training and instruction, led by certified instructors and industry specialists, on professional-grade equipment at the Ex’pression College campus.  Courses are not affiliated with the Ex’pression College Bachelor Degree programs and Ex’pression Pro courses are non-credit courses.  Ex’pression Pro courses result in certification upon successful completion.

“Ex’pression Pro classes are an ideal way to stay current in the industry and enable professionals, and those interested in achieving proficiency in an application or artistic workflow, to build upon their skill set and credentials.  Ex’pression Pro is a way to make anyone more marketable in today’s job market – we provide training for the skills and software that drive the digital arts industries,” said Chris Colatos, program director of Ex’pression Pro and course director of the Sound Arts program at Ex’pression College.

Interested participants can choose between individual courses or industry-focused programs.  Ex’pression Pro offers a wide range of classes in sound design, music, programming, visual arts,  interactivity, and more.  Classes are regularly scheduled for evenings and weekends to accommodate a working professional’s schedule.  Currently, Ex’pression Pro offers classes in Ableton Live, After Effects, Cinema 4D, Color, Electronic Music & Beat Production, Final Cut Pro, Houdini, Logic Pro, Mac Basics, Maya, Max/MSP, Motion, Mudbox, Nuke, Photoshop, Pro Tools, Processing, Python, Reason, Social Media, Songwriting, SuperCollider, and VJing. Upon successful completion of a course, participants will receive a Certificate of Achievement from Apple or an official Ex’pression Pro Certificate of Completion. Pro Application and IT certification by Apple may be achieved by successful completion of an Apple certification exam, and Pro Tools certification may also be achieved through successful completion of a Pro Tools certification exam.
