Previously, Andersen Zantop served as CEO, President, Publisher, and a member of the board of directors of Palm Publishing, LLC, and before that, Trudy Corporation, an independent children’s publishing company and online retailer focusing on children’s “edutainment.”
“We’re excited to have someone with Ashley’s set of experiences on the Capstone Management Team. Her strong background in publishing will help lead our imprints through the new challenges facing publishing today,” said Tom Ahern, Capstone CEO.
Ms. Andersen Zantop is a graduate of the University of Michigan School of Literature, Science, and the Arts and the University of Michigan School of Education. She holds degrees in English Literature (AB) and Elementary Education (AB.ED), as well as teaching certificates (CERT K-5, CERT 6-8). Ms. Andersen Zantop is currently completing her MFA in Creative Writing at Fairfield University, Fairfield, Conn.
Andersen Zantop will be based out of Minneapolis and will report to Tom Ahern, Capstone CEO. She began her new position March 23.
