March 25, 2011 - PRLog -- The release of the Bino and Fino cartoon is finally here. Bino and Fino, are a brother and sister who live with their grandparents in a modern day city in Africa. Along with a magic butterfly, Zeena, the siblings' adventures help them to learn about African history, culture and languages; general black history as well as; life skills, grammar and arithmetic. One could call it a black cartoon for kids. Or you could call it an African cartoon for young kids.

Whatever you want to call it, the series has captured the hearts and minds of a small group of fans world wide. And that group is about to get bigger with the release of the first Bino and Fino DVD on the 31st of March 2011. The series is aiming to be of value to kids of all races worldwide, not just to those in Africa and in Diaspora. The idea of the cartoon is to broaden the minds of preschool and kindergarten children by introducing them to a different, not often seen aspect of modern African urban living. It will also deal with fun, educational, cultural aspects as well.

The cartoon DVD will be available for purchase on the 31st of March at the website http://www.binoandfino.com/

‘We are really excited about it and hope the kids like the new episodes’ says creator Adamu Waziri . ‘The initial feedback we’ve had from kids and their parents on our Facebook fan page has been great.’
