Conejo Valley Days Offers Ticket Sales Fundraiser For All Nonprofits and Schools

PRLog (Press Release) - Mar. 24, 2011 - THOUSAND OAKS, CALIF.--School PTAs, booster clubs and all nonprofit organizations will have the opportunity to raise money by pre-selling entry passes and ride tickets for the 55th Annual Conejo Valley Days (CVD), May 4 through 8 at Conejo Creek Park, South in Thousand Oaks (23 Freeway, Janss Rd. exit).

   "This is a fun and different way for schools and nonprofits to raise money. A portion of each ticket sold will go to the school or nonprofit. Those who purchase these tickets will not only help their schools, but will receive a discount from the gate price," says Mary-Catherine McBride, CVD co-chair.

   The fundraising tickets cost $25 each. Each ticket is good for one CVD admission and an unlimited ride wristband on Wednesday, Thursday or Friday, May 4, 5 or 6. Tickets can also be used for admission and a sheet of 36 ride tickets. The ride tickets can be use on any of the five festival days.

   Tickets can be purchased directly from a participating school or nonprofit. For the first time, fundraiser tickets can be purchased online (www.conejovalleydays.org) as well. "Each nonprofit will have its own promotional code so whenever someone enters the code, the nonprofit receives a portion of the purchase price," says McBride.
