March 25, 2011 - PRLog -- On Saturday, March 26, 2011 at 2:30 p.m., fifty children enrolled in acting classes at 3-2-1-Talent Showcase Acting Studios  will work out with former WBF Super Middleweight World Champion Junior Earl Butler (JEB), ‘Celebrity Instructor’ for the La Crescenta, CA acting studio for kids, teens and young adults.  JEB will teach the kids his trademark “JEB Boxercise” and will feature these same kids in his nationally-distributed DVD and infomercial aimed at wiping out childhood obesity.

The students from 3-2-1-Acting Studios range in age from 4 to 12 and live throughout the San Gabriel Valley, Glendale, and Los Angeles.  What each share is a passion to perform on TV and film and for many, this will be their first professional ‘gig’ as they demonstrate JEB’s Boxercise technique on the nationally distributed DVD, “JEB Boxercise, Kids Counting Out Obesity” and original soundtrack, “It’s Finally Here.”

According to the prestigious organization, Children in Film (www.childreninfilm.com), Mae Ross, owner and director of 3-2-1-Acting Studios, is ranked one of the top acting coaches in Hollywood.  Mae says she is thrilled to showcase her acting students in the boxing champ’s campaign to bring awareness to childhood obesity.

“JEB’s Boxercise program is a simple but powerful way for kids to have fun while they exercise.  As a professional dancer/actor, I know the benefit exercise provides in maintaining good health and I’m glad he’s bringing this program to kids to motivate them to take an interest in their health.  I’m looking forward to my students acting as role models in reaching kids across the United States on behalf of this worthwhile and much-needed program.”

Among the students performing on JEB’s DVD are TV and film stars, 13- year old Dylan Boyack of Glendale and 10-year old Wendi Motte of Texas.  Both came to 3-2-1-Acting Studios to get the training to launch their careers.  Boyack is now co-starring in “The Hangover 2” and is a spokesperson for Target, Radio Shack, Mattel and Disney.  Motte is co-starring in “Eye of the Hurricane” and is featured in TV commercials for Burger King and J.C. Penney as well as several, national brand (Wal-Mart, Claire’s) print campaigns.
3-2-1-Acting Studios offers a free introductory class to kids aged 5 to 25 who want to gain a hobby or career in showbiz.  At 3-2-1 they learn valuable skills to face the challenges of the entertainment industry such as: on-camera techniques, the personality slate, TV commercial and TV hosting skills, scene study, confidence-building skills and how to audition to book the job.  Three times a year, Mae holds a Talent Showcase attended by top, Hollywood talent agents who are looking for talent for ads, commercials and TV and film appearances.
