Dr. Edward R. Speyer has three decades of professional experience.

Speyer draws on his broad, 30-year background in academic administration, business and career management in the public and private sectors. He holds his position with Career Pursuit Service Consulting’s Career Counseling and Job Search Coaching Center. Over the years, he has acquired expertise in career counseling and assessment for professionals setting out to make a career change. On a daily basis, Dr. Speyer develops marketing plans for clients’ career moves by assisting with the completion of resumes and cover letters. He also counsels clients, conducts job search coaching, and executes career management and executive coaching. As a marketing consultant, Dr. Speyer has advised and counseled companies throughout the United States, having held human resource management positions with the City of Yonkers and the State of New York.

Throughout the duration of his career, Dr. Speyer has assumed the roles of Vice President of National Home Guaranty, Inc., Director of marketing for North American Educational Services, and Vice President of operations for American Tele-Marketing. He has also held senior positions in government, colleges, universities and major corporations, including serving as Director of Admissions for Monroe College. He is currently Senior Partner and Senior Vice President at Career Strategies Group, an international career services organization.
 
Dr. Speyer earned a Ph.D. in Educational Administration from LaSalle University, a Master of Arts in Counseling from New York University, and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from The City College of New York. He also attained a Graduate Certificate in Employment Counseling from the New York State Department of Labor.

Additionally, Dr. Speyer is an active member of the American Counseling Association and the American Psychological Association.
