McGladrey Taps Dan Vandenberghe to Lead National

March 23, 2011 - PRLog -- Minneapolis – (March 23, 2011) – RSM McGladrey, Inc. and McGladrey & Pullen, LLP, which operate under the McGladrey brand as one of the country’s leading providers of assurance, tax and consulting services, recently named firm veteran Dan Vandenberghe to lead the firms’ national healthcare industry.

Vandenberghe, based in the firms’ Minneapolis office, brings more than 30 years of experience to the role, including providing advice, consultation and audit services to health systems, hospitals, clinics, nursing homes, senior housing centers, HMOs, foundations, health insurance companies and other related organizations. In addition to audit and accounting matters, he has assisted clients with mergers, acquisitions, debt capacity and debt issuance, budgeting, feasibility studies, third-party reimbursement, NAIC statutory codification and various other management decisions.

Vandenberghe is a certified public accountant, and graduated with a B.A. in accounting from Moorhead State University. He is actively involved with a number of professional and civic organizations including the Minnesota Chapter of the Healthcare Financial Management Association, Aging Services of Minnesota, Minnesota Hospital Association and Care Providers of Minnesota.
