March 23, 2011 - PRLog -- At some point, all of us have been hit with some type of bank fee: whether it is overdraft fees, service fees, fee for having a low balance, or a fee just for having an account.  When you put your money in a bank, you are basically giving them a loan with no interest rate; then the bank takes your money and loans it to other customers for a much higher interest rate or use is for investing.  Why should you pay a fee for them to use your money for free?  Dr. Clyde A. Lettsome, Ph.D., P.E., has written a new article titled "Is It Time To Fire Your Bank?".  If you feel you have been a victim of bank fees, it may be time to fire your bank.

“The technology available to banks has reduced their cost,” says Dr. Lettsome.  “Because more consumers are using these various forms of technology, there is only one reason banks should feel the need to charge fees for many of the services they provide.  That reason is not in your best interest.”
