Georgia Reproductive Specialists offers Guidance for National Infertility Awareness Month

March 23, 2011 - PRLog -- With National Infertility Awareness Month in April, Georgia Reproductive Specialists (GRS) in Atlanta, Georgia is offering a free seminar for couples to learn about the basics of infertility treatment, options and a free mini-consultation with a GRS specialist.  Anyone interested in family building options is encouraged to attend the seminar.  

In addition to a presentation by Dr. Mark Perloe, Medical Director at Georgia Reproductive Specialists, attendees will also hear from Mark Schwartz, a local acupuncturist who will speak to the benefits of acupuncture therapy.  

“With over seven million couples in the United States alone suffering from Infertility, it’s important for couples to understand when they should seek help and how they should start the process.  There is a lot of misinformation out there on infertility and options and we want to help those that are looking for a clear direction,” said Dr. Mark Perloe. “Sadly, statistics suggest that over half of couples experiencing fertility problems never seek treatment yet there is help out there.”

Georgia Reproductive Specialists offers two clear guidelines for seeking help if you are having issues conceiving a baby:
1.   If you are under the age of 35 and have been trying to conceive for over a year
2.   If you are over the age of 35 and have been trying to conceive for over six months
