The Home Life Perks Relationship Marketing & Referral System as it is often referred to, helps financial professionals remain top of mind before, during, and after a sale is made to a prospective client. It also provides these professionals with a real opportunity to tap into their existing database to generate new sales and more importantly gather new referrals. In a recent survey conducted by NX Institutional Solutions, LLC, it was made clear amongst financial professionals that the desire for a common automated solution to email marketing, social media, and other forms of online promotion was growing indefinitely. Clint Sheer, an insurance agent in an affluent area of upstate New York went as far as to say, “Online marketing tools are inherently necessary this day and age and advisors cannot stay competitive without implementing new systems. The program also allows for full customization of content on an ongoing basis, however, it is not really intended for use with financial product advertisements and solicitations. The platform provides excellent content in e-newsletters, such as summer grilling recipes and outdoor tips paired with cash back rewards on grills at Home Depot, or a summer wine special at a local wine bar. And while you could certainly use the system for any type of communication, financial professionals must use caution in order to remain compliant in their custom messages. Fortunately, a bundled plan offering social media archiving is available for registered reps. “We recommend that advisors save product solicitations for printed mailings and one-on-one meetings. Use this system to stay in touch with clients, add a friendly note and simply provide lifestyle content relevant to the time of year,” says McGonigle.
And that content and those deals are actually quite valuable. To date, over 600 national retailers offer cash back rewards and other incentives.
