Accessorizing Your Heart Health event features Sandra Lee of Semi-Homemade®

March 22, 2011 - PRLog -- KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Your heart is your most important accessory. Join Honorary Chairs Lisa and Jasper Mirabile for “Accessorizing Your Heart Health,” an evening of fun, food and inspiration. The signature event will feature keynote speaker Sandra Lee, internationally acclaimed home and food expert of the Food Network and Sandra Lee Semi-Homemade Cooking magazine.

Presented by Saint Luke’s Muriel I. Kauffman Women’s Heart Center, the event takes place Thursday, May 12, 2011, from 5:30-9 p.m. at the Hyatt Regency Crown Center Hotel, 2345 McGee St., Kansas City, Mo., 64108.

The evening includes a Toast to the Hearts of Women, gourmet dinner with creative tablescapes inspired by Sandra Lee and a silent auction. Guests will receive an autographed copy of Lee’s cookbook Semi-Homemade Cooking Made Light. In addition, the 2011 Heart Healthy Woman of the Year will be recognized. Individual tickets are $100.

Sponsors of $2,500 or more will enjoy a benefactors reception at 5:30 p.m., during which they’ll meet Lee and receive an autographed copy of her book Cocktail Time.

Proceeds from Accessorizing Your Heart Health 2011 will benefit Le Coeur de la Cuisine (The Heart of Cuisine) apprenticeship at Saint Luke’s Hospital, a program focused on the relationship between food and heart health.
