(Plainfield, NJ – March 22, 2011)   One of NJ’s hottest up and coming artists, singer/songwriter, actress and producer, Tenin Baba Ndanani, will take the stage “Live @ Best Buy” this Friday, March 25, 2011 at 5:00 p.m. at Best Buy’s Store,  located at One Union Square South at the corner of 14th Street and 4th Avenue, New York, NYC.  The ‘LIVE @ Best Buy’ program is a home for independent artists to showcase their talent free for  the community through Best Buy.  LIVE @ Best Buy provides artists from all genres and experience levels an opportunity to play their stages in New York City and Philadelphia.

Since launching her professional career, Tenin Baba Ndanani has been busy.  She is a seasoned veteran of musical theatre stages throughout the tri-state area as well as a bright up and coming recording artist.  In less than a year, Tenin has gone from virtual obscurity to performing on stages throughout New York, New Jersey and Pennsylvania, being quoted on www.ASCAP.com, fielding offers for major publishing deals and landing the lead role in the upcoming feature film “TUCHT” co-starring Joe D'onofrio of Goodfellas.  Tenin is known for her thrilling on-stage performances including over five seasons at Edison’s Plays-in-the-Park in NJ and, more recently, Bucks County Playhouse in New Hope, PA.  

At the “Live at Best Buy” performance, Tenin will music from her highly-anticipated and soon-to-be-released EP.  Forging her own course, Tenin fuses her background in musical theater with her soulful Gospel roots and hip hop flow for a sound all her own.
