March 23, 2011 - PRLog -- The Motorola Pro and HTC ChaCha are two of the most eagerly anticipated smartphones from two of the big names in the mobile market. Let's take a look at the pair of devices and see what we can expect to see when they are released.

If you are thinking about choosing between these two smartphones, the first and most obvious question to ask yourself is – what will your primary use of the phone be? Business or social? The Motorola Pro leans more towards the business market, while with its dedicated Facebook button (more of which later) the HTC ChaCha is more of a social phone. However, many people splice their business and personal lives together and both smartphones have admirable qualities for both camps. http://www.clove.co.uk/htc-chacha

The Motorola Pro is a candybar Android business phone that makes sending lots of emails and texts a pleasure.

A QWERTY keyboard is becoming increasingly ubiquitous on Android handsets, and with the Motorola Pro the popularity of RIM's BlackBerry design of a portrait set of keys on the front of the device for instant easy access has been adopted. This is still more of a rarity on smartphones running the Android operating system and is sure to make the device popular with social and business users alike. It also means the Pro has killer looks.

The HTC ChaCha smartphone is a good looking animal too. It also features a front-facing QWERTY keyboard to make answering texts and emails fast and fun. It's a little shorter and wider than the Motorola Pro (a 2.6 inch touchscreen compared with the Motorola's 3.1 inch touchscreen) and has a keyboard big enough for people with larger fingers to use.

It's social where the ChaCha really comes into its own, however. The dedicated Facebook button (complete with Facebook logo) means that it's easier than ever to share anything you want with your Facebook friends. With just one press of the button you can share your location to meet your friends, chat with someone on Facebook Chat wherever they are and switch between as many conversations as you like. Designed to be fully integrated with Facebook, the HTC ChaCha is a great phone for those who like social networking.

The ChaCha also has some features that make it a great business phone. One of the most prominent is the ability to synch emails from different email accounts (home and office, for example) into one inbox. The messages are then colour coded, meaning it's a breeze for you to sort them however you wish. http://www.clove.co.uk/motorola-pro

Both the HTC ChaCha and the Motorola Pro feature 5 megapixel cameras with built in flash, meaning you can capture your memories when out and about.

We wait for the release of both these smartphones with great anticipation. The HTC ChaCha is expected to retail for around £252 while the Motorola Pro will be about £420.
