Proximity of US Nuclear Power Plants to Earthquakes

PRLog (Press Release) - Mar. 21, 2011 - With the recent earthquake disaster and subsequent nuclear power plant crisis in Japan, the safety of US nuclear power plants has been questioned. Apofacy Solutions has created an interactive graphic that compares the proximity of US nuclear power plants to earthquakes in the past year. It also calculates the largest earthquakes within a 50, 100, 200, 500 and 1000 mile radius of each nuclear power plant.

It allows the viewer to see statistics from each of the 104 nuclear power plants in the United States, as well as nearby earthquakes.
