Who wil become Queen of the Mason-Dixon

March 21, 2011 - PRLog -- LAUREL, MD - Pageants R Fun (PRF) is pleased to announce that it is now accepting entries into its 2011 “Queen of the Mason-Dixon” pageant.  The pageant, which will be held on Saturday, April 30 in Columbia, Maryland, is open to girls between the ages of 3 months – 15 years old, through five divisions. Participants (or their parents/guardians) must live, work or attend school in Delaware,  District of Columbia, Maryland, Pennsylvania, Virginia or West Virginia. Depending upon age, on day of the pageant, girls may compete for the titles of Baby (3 mos. - 3 years); Tiny (4 - 6 years); Little (7 - 9 years), Preteen (10-12 years) and Junior Miss (13 -15 years old).  A Supreme Mason-Dixon title and crown is available to all age groups, with only one girl winning this overall title.

The pageant will be held at Drama Learning Center  9130 Red Branch Road # I  Columbia, MD  21045; with contestant check-in starting at 12:30 p.m.  The Formal wear competition is the only required category however there are also optional categories including: photogenic, talent, spokesperson, personality, and casual wear, which allow girls to express their creativity and skills.   All contestants will receive a “Princess” bag at check-in and will choose one prize from the vast gift table as they exit the stage during the formal wear competition and will receive a participation medal on stage.   Each divisional and optional winner will receive a crown, sash, crown pin & cash prize.

This one-day pageant offers the opportunity to participate in safe, low cost, low stress events that build self-confidence and widen horizons.
