Mingle with the stars with 2 VIP tickets to the Jameson Empire Awards

March 21, 2011 - PRLog -- LondonTown.com is giving away two tickets to the star-studded Jameson Empire Film Awards, taking place in London’s Grosvenor House Hotel on Park Lane on Sunday 27th March.

In addition to attending the awards ceremony, the winner of the competition and their guest will gain free VIP entry to the exclusive after-party at Aqua, providing a unique opportunity to mingle with movie stars and other celebrities.

The Jameson Empire Awards is one of the most prestigious ceremonies on the UK film awards calendar, and will this year be hosted by popular comedy quiz show host Dara O Briain. Each year, the ceremony is attended by the biggest stars and directors in the film business.

At the after-party, the lucky winner will find ample opportunities for star-gazing in the luxurious surroundings of Aqua, and perhaps even the chance to congratulate some of the winners in person.  It’s the dream prize for film buffs.

Email entries should also include full contact details (name, address, phone number). The winner of the competition will be the first correct answer drawn from the hat.  All entries must be received by midday on Wednesday 23rd March.

The Empire Film Awards were first held in 1995 and are organised each year by leading UK film magazine, Empire. This will be the third consecutive year in which the awards have been sponsored by whiskey manufacturer Jameson.

Nominees are voted for by the readers of Empire magazine. This year’s nominees include Inception, The King’s Speech and The Social Network for Best Film; Colin Firth and Leonardo DiCaprio for Best Actor, and the British comedy film Four Lions has been nominated for Best Comedy and Best British Film.
