Broadgate Mainland To Launch Scottish Operation

March 21, 2011 - PRLog -- Broadgate Mainland, the award winning London based financial and professional services public relations agency, has appointed Scott White as Executive Director and Head of Scotland, as the firm opens its first office in Scotland.

White, 43, joins Broadgate Mainland from Black to White public relations, which he founded in 2009. White’s existing clients, including wealth management firm Fiscal Engineers and the Irish Fund Investment Association, will continue with Broadgate Mainland. White has over 27 years of experience in the financial services industry including spells heading up the external communications functions at AEGON UK and Standard Life.

Broadgate Mainland was established in 1994 and has a long history of representing Scottish clients including Baillie Gifford, SVM Asset Management, Hannon Westwood and Scottish Investment Operations.

White will take up his position with immediate effect and will operate from an Edinburgh base. White also has the remit to recruit a team for Broadgate Mainland in Scotland as and when the opportunities present.

Broadgate Mainland’s Chairman is Michael Walker, who is also chairman of Walkers Shortbread Limited, the family-owned shortbread company based in Scotland, Longbow Growth and Income VCT, and Scottish Friendly Assurance Society Limited, the mutual life office and financial services group.
