Melbourne-based photographer Darren Stones helping to boost tourism in Victoria

Communicating a positive visual message through travel and tourism photography

March 21, 2011 - PRLog -- Darren Stones Visual Communications is a new business venture based in Melbourne that has recently supplied five professional digital stock photographs to Bunyip Tours of Melbourne, who were a Finalist in the 2010 Qantas Australian Tourism Awards.

Bunyip Tours Managing Director George Josevski was recently searching Google Images seeking fresh images of the Great Ocean Road for business promotion activities and he discovered the photography of award-winning Australian photographer Darren Stones.

“George said to me on the phone that he was impressed with my photography and that he wanted to license the use of five of my images,” said Darren. “Whilst on the phone, George invited me to inspect the Bunyip Tours website and I later advised him on the style of imagery that could enhance his website, brochures and posters. He generally uses images supplied by Tourism Victoria, but he was after something new, fresh and different. I was able to help him.”

Darren Stones Visual Communications is currently supported by the Australian Government as part of the New Enterprise Incentive Scheme (NEIS). The program provider is the Greater Melbourne Employment and Training Services and is delivered at the Kangan Institute of TAFE in Essendon, Victoria.
