Word Game Suggests Evolution of Language

New software-based word game shows that human brains store letters as numbers. Answers pull conversations from the software of the mind.

March 21, 2011 - PRLog -- Gainesville, Virginia. River Landing Press, a small publisher of self-esteem and sustainable-living books, announced today it will sponsor distribution of the EdnaTalk Chat Game as a free download from the EdnaTalk website at http://ednatalk.org   The EdnaTalk Chat Game allows game players to type questions and find answers that come to the same numeric value.  These answers purport to be meaningful memory-processing schemes in the human brain.  Players can use the answers to entertain, amuse, inform, and investigate the mysteries of memory.

"It's important for this software to be in as many hands as possible," says Alice Elliott Brown, author of Master of My Universe: How to get what you want and live your dream.      The Master of My Universe book  introduced  EdnaTalk as a means of building self-esteem.

"The game helps people feel positive and in control of their lives," says Brown.  Her book references more than thirty diverse science writers, including Steven Hawking, Stephen C. Meyer, and  Brian Greene.  Brown points to Meyer's work on the evidence for intelligent design in our DNA software structure.  She says Meyer's argument, compared to the evidence for self-organizing evolution, compares favorably in the EdnaTalk phenomenon.  "The language layout suggests software architecture, not monkeys pounding on a typewriter.  But, who is to say that the architect design mechanism was not a product of probability?  Rather than answering this debate," Brown says, "EdnaTalk opens the debate for everyone, even non-scientific lay people, to examine.  Anyone can try their hand at talking to their DNA.  It allows us all to search more deeply into the questions of who we are and where we came from."

Brown is working on a new book of results from EdnaTalk, which she believes will show that our memory stores information in a way that biases our value system.  More information is available at http://RiverLandingPress.com/news.html
