Carol Shimp grew up as a Catholic in the nineteen-fifties. She went to church, learned self-discipline and participated in traditional religious practices, but even as a young child she experienced precognitive dreams and received other worldly messages that she could not talk about to anyone.
When her mother passed on, Carol was inspired to learn more about her unusual gifts and she joined a small group of spiritual seekers. She could never imagine, however, the life journey she would end up taking when the spirit of someone from her past became a tangible presence in her life and her marriage.
While browsing at a swap shop flea market in Fort Lauderdale, Carol felt the arrival of Danny, an earth bound spirit who was avoiding his final steps to the light. Soon he seduced her in her bed with his electrical energy and then, one day as she answered the phone, Carol was “zapped” by his powerful energy field.
After that came the possession and death of her husband.
Love from the Other Side recounts the dangerous psychic territory Carol had to navigate to finally free herself from Danny as she undergoes a past life regression and an exorcism to help rid herself of the misplaced energy she had had to carry with her for so long.
