Sports & TV Celebrities Join Custom Cars at 37th Annual Town Fair Tire World of Wheels

March 19, 2011 - PRLog -- BOSTON – Sports and television celebrities will join the custom cars at the thirty-seventh annual Town Fair Tire World of Wheels (http://www.autorama.com) custom car show and motorsports expo at Boston’s Seaport World Trade Center Apr 1-3.

Spectators at the Town Fair Tire World of Wheels see one-of-a-kind custom hot rods, street rods, collectibles, race cars, antiques, restorations, tuners and more. They also see specialty vehicles and magazine cover cars, meet and get free autographs from celebrities and are entertained by attractions for the whole family, like the King Robota Comic Bot, presented by Town Fair Tire all weekend.

Celebrities making personal appearances at the show this year include:

• Capt. Johnathan Hillstrand of the Discovery Channel’s “Deadliest Catch,” Saturday, 1-4, 7-9 p.m.
• Zendaya Coleman, who is Rocky in the Disney Channel’s “Shake it Up,” Saturday, 1-4, 7-9 p.m.
• Danielle from the History Channel’s “American Pickers,” Sunday, Noon-5 p.m.
• New England Patriots tight end Rob Gronkowski, Sunday, 1-3 p.m.

The 2011 Town Fair Tire World of Wheels also will feature Galpin Auto Sports’ radical concept car Scythe; 6-pack, a 6-wheeled wild custom from Mini Truckin’ magazine; Goodguys Rod and Custom Association’s custom Model A Ford hot rod of the year Downtown Brown; Dennis “Lil’ Daddy” Roth’s Streetnik Bandit; Motorama display of traditional rods, customs and bobbers; Drag City USA vintage racing car display; pinstriper jam and charity auction.

Admission is free for children accompanied by an adult on Friday, Apr. 1.

Thirty-seventh annual Town Fair Tire World of Wheels show hours are Friday, April 1, 2011, 3-10 p.m., Saturday, Apr. 2, 2011, 10 a.m.-10 p.m., and Sunday, Apr. 3, 2011, 10 a.m.-7 p.m. Admission is $15 for adults, $5 for children 6-12, free for children 5 and under.
