Where is Haley Mills?! Find Beyond Coastal’s pro paddler at a comp near you

March 18, 2011 - PRLog -- SALT LAKE CITY, UT.– Beyond Coastal, manufacturer of premium sun care products for the outdoor lifestyle, will hit the road this spring and summer with its sponsored athlete and rising paddling star, 24 year old Haley Mills. A part time Salida, CO-resident, Mills’ home will be mobile this season as she covers the distance between events aboard her trusty RV, a rolling paddler’s paradise containing gear, boats, apparel, and sunscreen.

“The freedom I get from traveling in the RV is symbolic for why I pursue the sport of whitewater kayaking,” Mills said. “Cruising in the RV at 50 miles per hour is how I get to see the world and I love the accessibility it gives me to meet people who are passionate about paddling and the outdoors.”

Mills will compete at events like the Reno River Festival and the Teva Mountain Games. Her first stop will be at the March 18th Alabama Mountain Games in Cleveland, AL.

Beyond Coastal will engage fans with product giveaways through a series of “Where is Haley Mills?!” posts and “clues” on the brand’s social media channels with content hinting at her whereabouts and previewing and recapping her competition results. Mills will compete all season with the goal of sharpening her skills in time for the World Championships in Germany. “I have my sights set on World's and competing well overseas. Over the season I’ll be practicing new tricks and better learning the intricacies of competition in preparation for Germany,” Mills added.

Mills’ best result was in North Carolina, where she took 1st Place in women’s freestyle at the NOC Shootout.
