Leila was first introduced to yoga from a voice & movement class in Theatre School during the nineties; after some years with a consistent practice and health issues she realized the holistic  opportunities of yoga and became apart of the very first graduating class under Dr. Larry Payne in 2006, from  Loyola Marymount University for Yoga Therapy.

In 2007 Leila entered the Ayurvedic-Yoga Therapy Program at  The American University of Complimentary Medicine, Beverly Hills, California. Leila currently works

extensively in L.A. as a yoga therapist in clinics and recovery centers for women with addictions and Self-Harm Disorders.

Leila is also one of the yoga directors for the City of Los Angeles and its community centers. Focus is about bringing the body  into balance by eating and “yoga-ing” right for your type, and by integrating self-acceptance more than self-improvement.

Combining her different passions, Leila has also been a featured guest on the NBC Emmy-award winning show  The Doctors, discussing alternative ways to de-stress the body.
