March 17, 2011 - PRLog -- The vineyard is located at 900 meters above sea level in Jebel Al Ansariyeh on the outskirts of the port city of Latakia.

Wine amateurs and connoisseurs appreciated Domaine de Bargylus’s millesimes: Bargylus Red 2008 is made of French grapes such as Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Syrah while Bargylus White 2009 confirms its freshness marked by the Sauvignon Blanc and Chardonnay cépages.

Typically Mediterranean in style, Bargylus elegantly combines strength and refinement: it has a strong color, the range of aroma is perceivable through the fresh fruit and minerality that translates the very shingly soil.

The balance between sweetness, that comes with sunniness and the grapes’ full maturity, and salinity that comes with limestone, allows Bargylus to convey a strong soil identity and an inimitable taste.
