Douceur de France has two existing locations, one in Marietta and a second one in Roswell.  Their newest Marietta location will open as a bakery and production facility.  The bakery specializes in using recipes from all of the regions of France.  Their goal is to recreate the taste of French pastries with a level of sophistication suitable for the finest palette and they truly succeed.  Chef Luc combines local ingredients and imported favorites with a passion for making pastries in the French tradition.

Chef Luc was born in the region of France called "Poitou." Luc trained in the Art of Patisserie.  After earning his degree, Luc enrolled in "Les Compagnons du Devoir du Tour de France",  an organization dedicated to touring France and Europe  to learn the pastry techniques unique to each region.

After four years in this organization Luc earned the title of "Compagnons du Devoir"by doing a masterpiece in pulled sugar and pastillage. It took seven years to accomplish his "Tour de France'.

In addition to his work in Europe, Chef Luc has worked as a Pastry Chef in Tokyo, Japan and served as Regional Corporate chef for La Madeleine French Bakery.  Luc's dream of owning his own Pastry Shop came true in early 2000.  He opened the first Douceur de France in Marietta and followed with the Roswell location two years ago.  Atlanta Restaurant Broker, We Sell Restaurants assisted in the acquisition of both the Roswell location and his newest facility.
