The Academy is open to Book 1 and 2 students of ages 6 through 12. Piano students who have polished the repertoire at least through Book 1’s Mary Had a Little Lamb and violin students who have polished the pieces at least through Book 1’s Perpetual Motion are invited to register.
Registered Suzuki teachers Laura Tagawa and Henry Flurry lead this Academy with assistance from Suzuki violin teachers Sarah deLaveaga http://www.prlog.org/
This small and intimate four day session is designed to fill a need within the Arizona region for a Suzuki-style camp that will further enrich and inspire students.
Tuition for the Suzuki Academy is $300. There is a $25 Discount for all registrations sent before March 31, 2011. Students with a Prescott mailing address are eligible for Acker Trust Scholarship and may subtract $40 from their tuition. Some need-based scholarships are available to students.
